Mealworms

A highly nutritious treat for wild birds, packed with protein.

Many birds are attracted to live mealworms, particularly the soft-billed bird species, such as Blue Tits, Dunnocks, Robins, Starlings and Wrens. 

Sprinkle as they are, or rehydrate by soaking in warm water for a few minutes. This will be of particular benefit to young birds that rely on food provided by their parents for their hydration as well as their nutrition.
