Why use cod liver oil as a source of Omega 3 for dogs and cats?

Omega 3 is considered the most beneficial of the omega polyunsaturated fats and has three different natural forms - ALA, EPA and DHA. EPA and DHA are the most active and are only found in marine sources of Omega 3.

'Fish oil' products contain Omega 3 but cod liver oil has the additional benefit of naturally occurring high levels of vitamins A & D. Dogs rely much more heavily on their diet as a source of vitamin D than people, who can synthesis the vitamin in their skin when exposed to UV radiation from the sun.

When should I use cod liver oil?

For your pet's safety and to prolong the life of their toys, dogs should never be left unsupervised with a toy. Supervision allows you to monitor wear and tear and remove toys that may become unsafe. Our qualified pet care team and other pet care professionals recommend that pets should not be left with a toy in excess of 15 minutes.

Proof of Purchase

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 5 days.

Incorrect Items

If your order contains an error, please notify us within 24 hours so we can rectify the issue quickly.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven't received your refund yet, first check your bank account again and contact your credit card company, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. If you've done this and still have not received your refund, please contact us at info@petandco.co.uk.

Sale Items

Only regular-priced items may be refunded. Unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges

Shipping

To return your product, you should mail your product to Petits and Paws, Unit 1, Highland Road, Newtown, Norwich, NR6 6GB.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are shipping an item over £50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don't guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Damaged or Defective Items

If a product is damaged or defective upon receipt, please notify us within 1 hour of the delivery time by emailing info@petandco.co.uk. If you are reporting that a product has arrived damaged or broken, it is essential that you provide photographs of the damaged item as soon as possible after receipt.

IMPORTANT: We cannot accept claims regarding goods damaged or defective prior to taking photographic evidence. It is essential that you contact us prior to disposing of goods. We also cannot accept claims for frozen foods having defrosted when a parcel has been left in a safe place for over 1 hour after delivery.

Frozen Goods

If your order is for frozen goods that are UNDER 5KG, please note that we will endeavour to package items to reduce the likelihood of them defrosting, but we cannot accept claims for defrosting where the shipment has occurred. We strongly recommend using a specialist insulated shipping solution for frozen goods to reduce the risk of defrosting.

Please note that shipments to the following destinations may be subject to delays outside our control: Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Scotland, Channel Islands and Orkney Islands. We cannot offer refunds on products that are frozen and shipped to these locations.
